Okello Morris Age 18 Seconday 3 Okello Moris lives in Jinja with his mother, father and nephew in a rented room.  The family originally lived in Lalogi in Gulu district of northern Uganda .  The family moved to Jinja in 1985 when the war started.   Moris’s father works at a local company in Jinja and earns about $35 per month.  His mother sells a local juice type drink from a small hut and earns a small income.  The family would like to return to Gulu someday as they have some land there but no house.   Moris currently attends a secondary school about 2 miles from his home.  He is an average student.  He helps around the house by washing dishes and doing housework.  He also looks for small outside jobs on his school holidays.  He is a born again Christian and is in a choir at his church and also goes there for prayer.   Your sponsorship of Moris would help assure that he continue in secondary school and graduate so that he can then either go to university or be more likely to find a job.   Click here to pay $200 for one terms worth of fees  Click here to sponsor this student by adding the annual cost of $600 for school fees, uniform and supplies to your shopping cart.
